OUTDOOR EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR

FULL-TIME | SEASONAL


JOB SUMMARY

Prescott Pines Camp is looking for talented instructors for our Outdoor Education Program (ODE). These individuals will also assist our Guest Services Team. At this time, we are looking for individuals who would be available to work both daytime and evening hours along with some weekends for up to 40 hours a week. This position requires individuals who are enthusiastic, community-oriented, and can create inspirational experiences in a high-energy setting.

The ODE program is geared toward 5th and 6th grade Public, Private and Christian school students who come for 3 day overnight camps in the fall and spring. These camps are intended to be an additional educational experience in the school year and an opportunity for personal challenge and growth for the students. The classes we teach are both indoors and outdoors and use very interactive and hands-on activities.

The Guest Service team serves in many different areas of camp in order to fill needs as they arise. These areas include recreation, group hosting, food service, and accommodations.

Training will take place in the middle of January. The season starts at the end of January and goes to the middle of May. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a background in education or who just loves to teach. Training and lesson plans will be provided, including classroom management techniques. All that is required is a love of learning and teaching in a unique environment.

This position qualifies for some teaching and outdoor internships, and we are willing to work with you to fulfill your educational goals.
We are able to work with your schedule if you have school or other part-time jobs. Please include your availability in your application.


FOOD SERVICE

PART-TIME | YEAR-ROUND

JOB SUMMARY

The kitchen staff helps us serve our guests with delicious care in both the dining hall and dish room. Join our team as we help people connect with God and each other so that lives are changed and churches are strengthened.

Prescott Pines Camp is a Christian organization, so our employees work in an environment that is Christ-Centered. All employees should have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to serve our guests to help them experience God through His Creation, our care, and our authentic community.

The duties of this part-time position are to work under the Shift Leader is to fulfill the purpose of taking care of the dining hall and/or dish room. To be able to follow the guidelines of proper cleaning and sanitizing for both areas.

GUEST SERVICES

JOB SUMMARY

Prescott Pines Camp is looking for talented individuals to serve on our Guest Services Team. The Guest Services Team serves in many different areas of camp and fills needs as they arise. These areas include recreation, food service, and accommodations. This job requires a varied skill set and gives the opportunity to make a great contribution to the overall touch and feel of Prescott Pines. You will work with a team to fulfill our mission of helping people experience God through His creation, our care, and our authentic community.

We are looking for individuals who can work up to 40 hours with included weekends from May 17th to August 15th.

This position requires individuals who are enthusiastic, community-oriented, and can create inspirational experiences in a high-energy setting.

Some training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who possesses a desire to learn, a love for Christian camping, and a willingness to put their many skills to use. All that is required is a great attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for our guests.
